We are moving to our Forever Home! We have significantly outgrown our current space and cannot continue saving lives without making this move. There has never been a better time to donate as this amazing opportunity presented by Michelson Found Animals- Savings Pets Challenge puts us in the running for additional grants that we can use towards our mission of saving lives! Every donation gets us closer to winning our largest grant yet!

 

Cross Your Paws Rescue started in 2018 and has since rescued over 3000 dogs including strays, owner surrenders, and transfers from high kill shelters. We are a 100% volunteer run, foster-based organization. We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs of all ages, breeds, and medical needs! We know this new building will not only allow us to continue saving lives but to increase the number of dogs we save each year!

 

Since working with Wolfe County Animal shelter in Kentucky, we have helped them achieve and maintain being a NO-KILL Animal Shelter. Without our continued efforts, they would be forced to euthanize dogs simply due to space and the overwhelming volume of dogs dumped on their doorstep. We are working towards the same goal with multiple other shelters.

 

While the existing structure is amazing, we have lots of work ahead of us.  We need to…

·      clear land to fence in an area to hold our transports to create the safest environment for the dogs coming off our van

·      create a separate outside play yard

·      create a puppy room inside for meet and greets

·      expand the parking area to allow for proper parking during our transports

·      complete various updates needed inside and outside
